Ali and Salvador came at 1 p.m. - earliest of the allotted appointment of 1-4 p.m., to install a new water heater. They were both friendly, and answered questions. They used a drop cloth to ensure they don’t get the work area dirty; Ali explained why an expansion tank would be needed, or not. Ali also replaced my leaky washing machine valves, and used plenty of rags to make sure no water mess. They left the areas clean, as when they found them.

First off, I was really pleased with the direct, standard rate quote for a water heater replacement I was able to get over the phone. Then, we were able to get scheduled within the week. Ali & Salvador came to replace our water heater. They were prompt, efficient, super courteous, and knowledgeable. Couldn’t be happier with their service. Would definitely recommend. With Fischer, I also appreciate that the technicians don’t handle the billing and don’t work for commission (at least at the time of writing). That way, the incentive is for them to do good work and not to upsell/upcharge you for things you don’t need.

To start, I received two quotes from plumbing companies to replace an electric hot water heater. Fischer’s quote was 1/3 of the competing company. The other company visited our condo and then proceeded to explain how difficult it would be to replace and when I told them they were way more expensive, they just said that the work justified the higher price. Same brand of hot water heater, so that wasn’t a factor in the higher pricing. Fischer said no problem. We were originally scheduled for a later date, but said they called a few weeks prior and had a technician in the area that could do it that day. The technician they sent, Mike T. (And an assistant), were professional, thoroughly knowledgeable and friendly. They draped our flooring for protection, and also wore foot coverings. They quickly and efficiently removed the old water heater and installed the new one, and explained its operation. When I got the bill, it came in even a little less than the quote. I would definitely recommend Fischer Plumbing to others.

Travis came out to check on my water pressure and assessed it throughout my townhouse. Let me know all was in normal range. He identified corroded galvanized pipe joints as part of my water heater piping. I had him replace them and once he had removed them he showed me how badly clogged the galvanized sections were. Was very grateful to get them replaced with better brass connections instead. I appreciated his quick service and his being on time.
