They traced it back to the source and got it fixed. They were mindful in their exploration and kept the amount of cutting they had to do to a minimum which really helps with the patching process. It's great when a company is thoughtful about what they do, plus their customer service is top notch. They stayed in constant contact over several days not only with us and the units above, but with our property management. Ali and Salvador came at 1 p.m. - earliest of the allotted appointment of 1-4 p.m., to install a new water heater. They were both friendly, and answered questions. They used a drop cloth to ensure they don’t get the work area dirty; Ali explained why an expansion tank would be needed, or not. Ali also replaced my leaky washing machine valves, and used plenty of rags to make sure no water mess. They left the areas clean, as when they found them.

I manage a lot of properties. Fischer does a great job for a fair price. Others companies i have used seem to make up pricing out of thin air.

I'm a maintenance guy at a small 30+ unit apartment site on the Eastside of Seattle. I am confident in plumbing and have done a ton of it over the years. We still run into things that only a seasoned plumber will have the experience for. So Management wanted to hire some professionals to come out and take a look at a few issues that came up. I'll take any help I can get 30+ 30yo units can cause more issues than you may think. We had plumbers come out a month or two ago to look at the same issues. I was on vacation at the time but when I got back the plumbers that came out were hard to get a hold of. Didn't do everything we asked them to and they weren't cheap either. We had a ground floor unit with a mystery leak that I wanted them to track down the other plumbers (when I finally got in touch with them) basically shrugged and said they didn't find it.. let me tell you the experience today with David and Ali was a breath of fresh air. I got a 30 minutes heads up call from Barb in scheduling letting me know they were in the way. They showed up EXACTLY when she said they would. That alone is major points from me. Not having to constantly wonder where your subs are is a huge time saver. They were extremely knowledgeable and were both very personable and easy to talk to. I was impressed with the wealth of knowledge and experience both the journeyman and apprentice had. They wasted no time dilly dallyn' around their truck it was straight to business. It was immediately obvious both knew what was expected and how to accomplish what was asked of them. For my day job I do home remodels so I deal with a lot of subs. To start, I received two quotes from plumbing companies to replace an electric hot water heater. Fischer’s quote was 1/3 of the competing company. The other company visited our condo and then proceeded to explain how difficult it would be to replace and when I told them they were way more expensive, they just said that the work justified the higher price. Same brand of hot water heater, so that wasn’t a factor in the higher pricing. Fischer said no problem. We were originally scheduled for a later date, but said they called a few weeks prior and had a technician in the area that could do it that day. The technician they sent, Mike T. (And an assistant), were professional, thoroughly knowledgeable and friendly. They draped our flooring for protection, and also wore foot coverings. They quickly and efficiently removed the old water heater and installed the new one, and explained its operation. When I got the bill, it came in even a little less than the quote. I would definitely recommend Fischer Plumbing to others.

He listened carefully to my description of problems, concerns. He provided above average expected skill in identifying the problems, solving them, educating me on maintenance, expectations for future plumbing needs and a variety of options available should I need them. In addition Chris showed remarkable physical skills in switching from easy routine plumbing needs to very difficult such as pulling out of the drain very large roots. This also required changing from ground level to higher level maneuvers to manage the increasing difficulty of the task. His written description on the invoice was thorough and provided the information given to accommodate the future plumbing needs.

Travis came out to check on my water pressure and assessed it throughout my townhouse. Let me know all was in normal range. He identified corroded galvanized pipe joints as part of my water heater piping. I had him replace them and once he had removed them he showed me how badly clogged the galvanized sections were. Was very grateful to get them replaced with better brass connections instead. I appreciated his quick service and his being on time.

Mike and Jeremy came to do mini splits. They were very professional and even helped us figure out a setup more customized to our older home (ducted mini splits). We had a great experience with Fischer plumbing thanks to the plumber named Sean. In fact, he clued us in to the fact that since we live on the ground floor of a 4 story condo, it probably was the fault of people above us that our drain was clogged with hardened grease. It meant then that the homeowner's association would pay for the plumbing costs. Yay, and yay for Sean. If we have work for a plumber we will ask for Sean for sure.

I recently had a hot water tank failure at my Seattle triplex but I live in southern CA. Having talked to 3 plumbing companies (all very busy), Fischer Plumbing was able to get the job done for me the fastest and their price was comparable to the others.
